Think Tank Insights:
- MOM = Manufacturing Operations Management, and the goal is to eliminate “swivel chair” integration
- To optimize MOMs within the application infrastructure, need to make sure all parties in enterprise are aware of all the phases of engineering, design, logistics, manufacturing
- With MOMs, AD&D companies can take a more granular look at the shop floor to finesse operations processes. Direct feedback from shop floor is great asset.
