Business Intelligence Think Tank: SAP TechEd Highlights and 2021 Trends for BIA

ASUG members, you’re invited to attend a community call to discuss SAP TechEd highlights and upcoming 2021 trends/topics.  
 

The format for Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT will include: 

  • A brief welcome and introduction from ASUG 
  • Hot-topic discussion led by ASUG members Tammy Powlas from Fairfax Water and Atul Patankar from Dickinson & Associates 
  •  The discussion will focus on: 
    • SAP TechEd main highlights for BI/analytics  
    • SAP TechEd virtual event experience 
    • 2020 summary 
    • Topics for 2021

  • Biggest takeaway from TechEd 2020 is that analytics is continuing to shift towards the business user 
  • SAP Analytics Cloud can be embedded in several solutions (most commonly SuccessFactors or Ariba, amongst several others) which can provide a real-time, 360 view of entire workforce and/or supply chain 
  • Many organizations use predictive planning, consolidated data analytics, and agile business-end self-service capabilities as the chief drivers of their business use cases for these products 
  • There will be a BW/4HANA 3.0, expected to be available in Q1 of 2021
