Mike Flannagan is Senior Vice President of SAP Analytics and SAP Leonardo. In this role, he is responsible for products that enable the digital transformation of businesses around the world. Mike’s team is driving the strategy behind SAP Leonardo, which unites key technologies — data intelligence and big data, analytics, machine learning, the internet of things (IoT), blockchain and cloud — to find repeatable solutions to the toughest business problems across numerous industries. Mike also serves on the Board of Directors for the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development, a growing network of more than 250 organizations that act as data champions working around the world, harnessing the data revolution for sustainable development.
Mike is active in the startup community as an angel investor, mentor and board member. Prior to joining SAP, Mike served as an advisor to Machine Learning Startup DataRPM (acquired by Progress Software) and was Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Data & Analytics Software Group at Cisco Systems. Mike co-founded ChallengeUp, an IoT focused startup accelerator, with executives from Intel, Deutsche Telekom and Cisco. Mike holds multiple patents, is a published author, and a frequent speaker at industry events.
Mike was a business major at The University of Texas at San Antonio and went on to earn his MBA from Auburn University, where he now serves on Advisory Boards for the College of Business and the Graduate School.
