This presentation is intended to provide attendees with an introduction to the newest real time consolidation capabilities delivered with SAP S/4HANA release 1709. The presentation will cover the unique value proposition offered by the solution, an overview of the full scope of the solution and then focus specifically on enhanced capabilities delivered with release 1709.
These include not only new consolidation specific enhancements but as well greater flexibility and integration in terms of FX translation, new local control and validation capabilities as well as significantly enhanced monitoring and approval during the overall close process.

Lynn Chen, SAP
Lynn Chen is an SAP Senior Consultant focused on Planning and Consolidation, especially in financial consolidation over 10 years. She has implemented consolidation projects in different industries, including major financial institutions. Lynn is familiar with SAP finance applications (ECC FICO /S4HANA Finance) and different generations of consolidation products. She also works closely with SAP development and product management groups and has hands-on experience with latest products.
Kirk Anderson, SAP
Kirk Anderson is a Vice President in the Analytics Product Management and Customer Success organization, focused on SAP's Enterprise Performance Management solutions and most recently their integration with SAP’s S/4 HANA Enterprise Resource Management suite for digital business. Kirk is a Chartered Accountant working for a number of years in public accounting prior to joining SAP.
