This joint KPMG and AbbVie presentation focuses on SAP Global Trade
Services (SAP GTS) deployment to communicate with customs in the U.S.,
Ireland, Germany, and Italy. This project capitalized on its prior global rollout of SAP GTS and includes:
- First integration between SAP GTS and Irish customs for self-filing.
- First integration to U.S. customs within the new Automated Commercial.
- Environment with Partner. Government Agency data elements simplifying master data process.
- Integration of Union Customs Code Inward Processing (IP) management.
- Visibility and control of manufacturing and R&D locations.
