Americas’ SAP Users’ Group (ASUG) is the world’s largest community of SAP professionals. Our mission is to help people and organizations get the most value out of their SAP investments.
Whether you are new to ASUG, or you’ve been a member for decades, we want to ensure you are fully aware of the benefits of your membership. On Thursday, Jan. 25, the ASUG Customer Success team will launch a monthly webcast, ASUG 101, for members and non-members alike to learn how to get started with ASUG, better understand membership benefits and website features, and get critical questions answered.
Ahead of the webcast (register here), here are a few simple steps ASUG members can take to set themselves up for success with membership:
- Create or update your profile. ASUG company membership is held at the corporate level, and all individuals within the organization have access to member benefits. To begin making the most of your ASUG membership and to ensure you are staying up to date with the most relevant articles, research, and events, first create or update your ASUG member profile. (Unsure if you are an ASUG member? Check your status here.)
- Nominate a Champion, or become one yourself. ASUG Champions play a key role in membership, keeping their organization connected to the SAP community. As the main point of contact for ASUG, champions ensure that their organization is maximizing its membership by staying informed about and involved with ASUG member benefits.
- Follow your local Chapter. ASUG has 38 regional Chapters across the U.S. and Canada. Chapters meet regularly and will help you make career-changing connections with other SAP users and partners. Chapter events are free and open only to ASUG members!
- Join (at least) one of our professional groups. Explore a unique range of groups and professional networks organized around common interests, roles, and industries.
- Community Alliances are dynamic communities of members that come together to discuss challenging topics facing SAP customers, provide product feedback to SAP, and share powerful success stories.
- ASUG Women Connect fosters diversity and inclusivity, facilitates the advancement of professional growth, and empowers the development of leadership skills among SAP professionals.
- If you’re a C-suite or senior-level member, ASUG Executive Exchange will help foster high-level connections and shape your organizational strategy to drive growth.
- Unique volunteer and leadership opportunities help ASUG members unlock even more value from their membership, including opportunities to expand leadership skills and make life-long connections.
- Explore on-demand content at your own leisure–exclusive for ASUG members. The latest articles, research, podcasts, on-demand webcasts, and insights will help you make better decisions about your organization's technology investments. The ASUG First Five newsletter, delivered to your inbox each week, features stories from ASUG members who are transforming their businesses, exclusive SAP news and interviews, guest perspectives from industry thought leaders, and all the latest ASUG research and analysis. And with The Topic: Utilities, a monthly newsletter for SAP users in utilities, ASUG is expanding into industry-specific newsletters with expert insights, research findings, guest perspectives, and customer stories.
- Connect with your Customer or Partner Success Manager. All active ASUG members are assigned a dedicated Customer or Partner Success Manager to better assist you and your organization in your ASUG and SAP journey. Email memberservices@asug.com to connect with your dedicated ASUG point of contact.
ASUG is excited to be a part of your journey as you continue to explore new possibilities, and our team looks forward to helping overcome your SAP challenges. Join our ASUG 101 webcast to learn more.
