ASUG is kicking off SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference on June 3 with its slate of Pre-Conference Seminars. Focused on specific SAP topics, these seminars include customer stories, group discussions, and expert-led panels.
“The line-up for ASUG Pre-Conference Seminars directly addresses the most relevant topics, questions, and challenges in the ASUG Community,” said Kara Hughes, ASUG Content Production Lead. “We are thrilled to start SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference with such an excellent line-up of sessions that are sure to provide attendees with vital insights and significant value.”
The ASUG Pre-Conference Seminars are split into several distinct paths. Here is what attendees can expect from each tract:
- Navigating the Cloud Landscape: SAP's Transformative Strategy and Customer Insights – SAP is encouraging its customers to embrace the cloud. Offerings like RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP set about making this transition easier. In this tract of sessions, attendees will hear about the SAP cloud portfolio and the best practices for cloud migration. Highlights include a panel discussion featuring Kara Beck, Organizational Change Management Lead for SAP S/4HANA at Moog; Sylvain Garneau, Enterprise Architect at Produits forestiers Résolu; and Richard Caluori, Director of Corporate Controlling at Western Sugar discussing their organization’s experience with the cloud.
- Connected Experiences Across the Value Chain with Intelligent Customer Experience (CX)– The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the way enterprises interact with their customers, especially as companies build integrations between customer relationship management (CRM) solutions and ERP platforms. During the Customer Experience sessions, attendees will learn more about adopting AI-infused business models and how SAP CX solutions can extend your current CRM programs. Join us for sessions including a commerce customer story from medical technology company Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD).
- The Changing World of Enterprise Architects – SAP products like SAP Signavio, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and LeanIX are changing the way enterprise architects approach their work. With these solutions in hand, SAP customers can jumpstart significant business transformation. During these sessions, attendees will learn more about the SAP EA Framework and methods to set up efficient Centers of Excellence (CoE). Session highlights include a discussion on reference architecture in the cloud and examples of SAP BTP adoption.
- · Unleashing the Power of SAP BTP: Maximizing Your SAP Investment Through Innovation and Transformation – A portfolio of solutions that impacts many facets of the SAP ecosystem—including integration, app development, and automation—SAP BTP can be leveraged by customers to drive significant change and increased efficiency in their enterprises. Attendees will hear from SAP BTP customers like Bristol Meyer’s Squibb, and Jabil about how they’ve leveraged the platform.
- I’m Live on SAP S/4HANA, Now What? – Nearly half (47%) of ASUG members are either live on SAP S/4HANA or have begun the move. But what comes after this digital transformation project? In this tract, attendees will learn what goes into establishing an effective post go-live plan, including building a CoE and spurring continuous improvement.
- · Realize Your Supply Chain Potential with SAP Business AI – AI is also radically changing the way organizations manage their supply chains. With this tract, attendees will learn how integrating AI into SAP Digital Supply Chain solutions will further enhance their business operations, including improving demand forecasting and logistics, along with lowering operational emissions.
ASUG will also host an ASUG Executive Exchange event covering the reality of business AI and a conversation with SAP thought-leaders and analysts Josh Greenbaum, Principal at Enterprise Applications Consulting; and Jon Reed, Co-Founder of Diginomica. Open only to C-level executives, this session will include open and frank conversations about the hurdles SAP customers face.
“ASUG members—and SAP customers—face numerous challenges in today’s rapidly evolving IT landscape,” said Alyssa Perna, ASUG Enterprise Content Producer. “Our main goal while building this robust program was to help attendees find answers and gain insights to the topics (and hurdles) most important to them.”
