SAP is constantly providing updates on its extensive suite of products. Whether it is simplifying the user experience or introducing new functionalities, these changes can have an impact on your current systems and future development plans.
Innovation in SAP Business Intelligence
Some innovations set to arrive early this year include updates to SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3 and hybrid analytics on SAP Analytics Cloud. In a recent SAP Road Map webcast that ASUG hosted, Adrian Westmoreland, product manager at SAP, walked attendees through some of the biggest updates for the two platforms. This version of the application is currently in beta but will be released for general availability in Q2 2020.
With this release, SAP BusinessObjects will feature—among other things—a more intuitive user experience, tighter integration with SAP Analytics Cloud, and the ability to support the latest industry standards. With all these changes, this new version of SAP BusinessObjects also is designed to be easier to deploy and implement within an organization. After detailing the updates, Westmoreland gave a live demonstration of the big changes coming to SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3 and hybrid analytics for SAP Analytics Cloud, as well as how they actually work.
